Day 1 Marrakech – Ait benhaddou – Ouarzazate – Dades gorges

Your adventure begins with a prompt 8:15 a.m. pickup from your Marrakech hotel by our knowledgeable guide, who will accompany you to the departure point.

As you travel, marvel at the breathtaking scenery of the Atlas Mountain range, and prepare to be enchanted by the ancient Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou. Step back in time as you explore this UNESCO World Heritage site on a guided tour, followed by a delightful lunch within the Kasbah’s historic walls.

Continue your journey to Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Africa” for its role as a backdrop in many blockbuster films. Take a moment to unwind at a local café before heading to the picturesque Dades Valley. Here, you’ll settle in for the evening at your Riad or hotel, where a delicious dinner awaits.

Continuing our adventure, we journey to the Berber village of Agdez, where we’ll be captivated by the picturesque landscapes of the Draa Valley. This valley is renowned for being home to Morocco’s largest palm plantation, as well as countless Kasbahs and fortified oases. As the day draws to a close, we reach the Zagora desert, where you’ll enjoy a one-hour camel ride into the desert to marvel at a breathtaking sunset. Tonight’s accommodation will be in a traditional Berber nomad tent, where you’ll savor a delicious dinner under the desert sky at your desert camp.

Day 2 Dades – todgha gorges – Erfoud – Merzouga

Continuing our Desert Tour from Marrakech to Fes, your day begins with an early breakfast before embarking on an exhilarating journey to Morocco’s majestic Sahara Desert. As you traverse through picturesque Berber villages and along the famed “road of 1000 Kasbahs,” immerse yourself in the stunning scenery.

Arriving at the Todgha Gorges, marvel at the awe-inspiring limestone canyons nestled within the Atlas Mountains. Along the way, make stops in Tinejdad to explore a renowned palm-lined Berber village and the historic Irrigation Canal in Jorf.

Next, venture to Erfoud, a charming town in southern Morocco celebrated for its skilled fossil workers and bustling date market. Finally, arrive at the edge of the Erg Chebbi dunes, where you’ll embark on a memorable camel trek to a desert oasis.

Day 3 Merzouga – ziz Valley – Ifrane – Fes

Continuing your journey, marvel at the stunning panoramic views of the Ziz Valley, pausing for picturesque photo opportunities. Then, venture onward to Midelt, fondly known as the capital of apples, where you’ll enjoy a delicious lunch at a typical restaurant.

Afterward, immerse yourself in the natural beauty of Azrou’s cedar forest, home to the endangered Barbary Apes. Capture precious moments and snapshots of the lush forest and its playful inhabitants.

Continue your scenic drive to Ifrane, often referred to as Morocco’s Little Switzerland, admired for its charming architecture and alpine-like landscapes.
