The 8-Day journey starting from Tangier and leading to the Sahara Desert offers a delightful blend of culture, history, adventure, and leisure. Traverse through mountain villages, picturesque landscapes, and ancient ramparts. Commence your expedition from Tangier, then delve into the enchanting blue-hued streets of Chefchaouen. Continue your exploration through the medieval alleys of Fes, concluding your voyage in the renowned Red City of Marrakech.

Day 1: Tangier

Upon your arrival at the airport or ferry terminal, you will be transferred to your hotel. Take the opportunity to immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere of this bustling port city, which has a rich history as the favored destination of international luminaries such as writers, artists, musicians, and politicians, including Paul Bowles. Tangier exudes a lively and cosmopolitan ambiance, with its historic Mediterranean charm inviting exploration of numerous museums and sites. Spend the night at the hotel, ready to embark on further adventures the following day.

Day 2: Chefchaouen

Our journey today takes us to Chefchaouen, a picturesque Andalusian town adorned in shades of blue and white, nestled snugly within the Rif Mountains. This charming town offers a serene atmosphere with its narrow winding alleyways and bustling market squares, where local women from the surrounding Rif region gather to sell their handmade goods. Day 3: Chefchaouen – Fez

Today, we journey to Morocco’s most captivating city and the last surviving Medieval city in the world. Prepare for an immersive tour of the bustling medina, renowned for its vibrant “souks” (markets). Our exploration will include stops at iconic landmarks such as the Royal Palace gateway, the ancient Karouine Mosque and University dating back to the 9th century, and the tomb of the city’s founder, Moulay Idris II. Lunch will be savored at one of the traditional restaurants nestled within the old medina. Following our meal, we’ll continue our adventure with visits to the Najarine Fountain, the Bab Boujloud gateway, the historic harem gardens, and the fascinating Batha Museum. En route back to the hotel, we’ll pause to admire a panoramic view of the city and visit the Mausoleum, along with a renowned tannery where skins are cured and dyed in vast vats. Rest for the night at the hotel, reflecting on the day’s enriching experiences.

Day 4: From Fez to Marrakesh via Beni Mellal

We’ll depart from Fez towards Marrakesh, traversing the scenic Middle Atlas Mountains and passing through the charming Berber villages of Ifrane and Azrou. You’ll have the opportunity for an optional lunch break and a moment of relaxation in Beni Mellal, renowned as one of Morocco’s key agricultural centers. As the afternoon progresses, we’ll arrive in Marrakesh. Check-in at the hotel and unwind after the day’s journey. Spend the night at the hotel, ready to explore Marrakesh’s wonders the next day.

Day 5: Marrakesh

Explore the rich history of Marrakesh with visits to its iconic landmarks. Begin with the serene Menara garden, followed by a journey to the Saadian tombs, Bahia Palace, Koutoubia Minaret, and the enchanting Majorelle Gardens, originally crafted by the renowned French painter. This botanical haven later became the cherished residence of Yves Saint Laurent in 1980. In the afternoon, immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere of Djemaa El Fna square, surrounded by bustling souks and artisan quarters. Day 7: From Casablanca to Tangier

Following breakfast at the hotel, we’ll marvel at the magnificent Hassan II Mosque. Afterward, our journey continues northward. Along the way, we’ll make stops to capture picturesque moments, relax, and soak in the scenic beauty of the region. By late afternoon, we’ll reach Tangier. Rest for the night at the hotel, reflecting on the memorable experiences of our journey.

Day 8: Tangier

As the morning light gently embraces the city, we’ll whisk you away on a delightful journey to the airport or ferry terminal, where your next adventure awaits.
