DAY 1: Fez

Upon your arrival in Fez, our designated driver will warmly welcome you and facilitate your transfer to your chosen accommodation. Following your check-in, you will have the remainder of the day at your leisure to unwind and settle in. Enjoy a comfortable overnight stay in Fez, preparing for the adventures that await you in the days ahead.

DAY 2: Fez

Following a delightful sunrise breakfast, we’ll dismantle the camp and depart from the desert, riding camelback back to our starting point. From there, our journey continues to Ouarzazate before concluding with a convenient hotel drop-off in Marrakech. DAY 3: Fez – Ifrane – Azrou – Khenifra (165kms)

Our expedition will proceed from Fez to Khenifra, located at the heart of the Middle Atlas. En route, seize the opportunity to discover Ifrane, often dubbed as the Switzerland of Morocco, Azrou, a significant hub for Berber artisans, and the magnificent cedar forests. Khenifra boasts a wealth of Berber history, with vivid handmade rugs and carpets being a hallmark of this city. Spend the night immersing yourself in the cultural richness of Khenifra.

DAY 4: Khenifra – Imilchil (181kms)

Set out from Khenifra towards the quaint village of Imilchil, traversing the Middle Atlas and ascending into the majestic High Atlas mountains. Along the way, you’ll encounter numerous small Berber villages, providing a rare glimpse into the everyday existence of the region’s inhabitants. Imilchil is renowned for its annual betrothal festival held in September, drawing visitors from far and wide. DAY 5: Imilchil – Todra Gorge (126kms)

Following a delightful traditional breakfast, our journey recommences from Imilchil towards Todra Gorge. Dedicate the day to immersing yourself in the breathtaking canyons and the charming Berber villages that adorn the surroundings. Consider embarking on a scenic drive to Boumalne Dades, Kelaa M’Gouna, or Skoura, known as the Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs, to further enrich your experience. Rest for the night amidst the captivating beauty of Todra Gorge.

DAY 6: Todra Gorge – Erfoud (138kms)

We set off from Todra Gorge towards Erfoud, with a planned stop in Tinjdad along the way. Here, we’ll delve into the local culture by visiting the water museum and springs, gaining insights into the fascinating process of transporting water from the depths of the mountains to the desert oasis. Overnight accommodations await us in Erfoud, where we’ll continue our journey through this captivating region.

DAY 7: Erfoud – Rissani – Merzouga (60kms)

Following breakfast, venture out to explore the charming desert towns of Erfoud and Rissani. Then, proceed to Merzouga, located in the Erg Chebbi region of the Sahara desert, where your Moroccan desert escapade awaits. Opt for a camel ride to embark on your desert adventure and witness the mesmerizing sunset over the majestic Sahara dunes.
